    2. PRODUCT components subject to normal wear and tear, as well as rechargeable batteries supplied with the PRODUCT, are covered by warranty for a period of 12 months from the date of sale to the end user (the WARRANTY PERIOD), provided that this period may not exceed 18 months from the date on which the PRODUCT was released from the GUARANTOR’s warehouse.
    3. Disposable batteries supplied with the PRODUCT are not covered by the warranty.
  2. The warranty set out in these Warranty Terms covers physical defects in the PRODUCT disclosed during the WARRANTY PERIOD, provided that such defects arose from causes inherent in the PRODUCT at the time of sale.
  3. During the WARRANTY PERIOD, the GUARANTOR undertakes to remedy defects in the PRODUCT free of charge, provided that:
    1. The disclosed defect does not constitute damage resulting from improper use or storage;
    2. The PRODUCT shows no signs of interference with or modification by unauthorised persons, and in particular the warranty and/or verification seals have not been tampered with;
    3. The PRODUCT has been delivered to the GUARANTOR’s Central Service Centre or to an Authorised Service Partner designated by the GUARANTOR. The use of the original packaging is recommended. In justified cases, this period may be extended to 28 business days, in which case the GUARANTOR shall inform the person entitled under the warranty.

  8. Unauthorised repairs, structural modifications and, in particular, tampering with service and/or verification seals shall result in loss of warranty rights.
  9. Neither the GUARANTOR, the GUARANTOR’s Central Service Centre nor an Authorised Service Centre shall be liable for losses resulting from improper operation of the PRODUCT, including in particular loss of data, loss of revenue or profits, incurred costs or other losses not expressly specified herein.
  10. Neither the GUARANTOR, the GUARANTOR’s Central Service Centre nor an Authorised Service Centre shall be liable for the timely performance of warranty services in the event of unforeseeable events constituting force majeure.
